91探花offers a number of courses on the study of music and other arts through academic departments such as Theatre, Communications, English, and others, many of which cover core requirements. Please talk to your advisor for additional information.

Attention first-year students! Whether you are a performer, an artist, or a lover of the arts, the Communitas Art and Culture Learning Community will help you develop a sense of  citizenship and personal responsibility with a special focus on art, music, performance, and imaginative interpretation.

In this learning community, students explore:

  • Who am I in relation to the arts?
  • Culture through the ages
  • Off-campus performances, museums and art galleries

Students who select Communitas:

  • Live together in a residence hall on south campus
  • Take a specially-designed Augustine and Culture Seminar (ACS), a class all first-year students participate in
  • Enjoy unique co-curricular programming
  • Are enrolled in a one-credit Communitas course designed around a specific theme

 

SUMMER MUSIC STUDIES

Over 12,000 music educators participated in our practical graduate music education courses during the program鈥檚 25+ year run, which concluded in 2023. If you need a transcript from one of our credit-granting institutions during that time, please click on "Transcript Information" below.

Students who attended the 91探花Summer Music Program may now request transcripts through Moore College of Art & Design, following the closure of the University of the Arts (UArts).

  • Most of our performances as well as the Summer Music Studies program are held in St. Mary's Hall, building number 53 on the campus map. Use the parking lot entrance labeled 'West Campus Entrance'.
  • Some larger events are held in the 91探花Room in the Connelly Center, building number 24 on the campus map.
