ShareNova
The ShareNova initiative aims to promote a sharing economy at 91探花University grounded in the Augustinian way of living. ShareNova focuses on optimizing the use of assets such as office supplies, vehicles, space, and time. We can reduce our purchasing and waste generation by exploring opportunities to share resources within the community.
Since Spring 2024, 91探花has used Rheaply to expand the Free Store beyond Falvey Library, enabling the free exchange of campus items. After acquiring Cabrini University, 91探花used the platform to redistribute quality items and reduce waste鈥攅ncouraging users to take only what they truly need.
In Fall 2024, the 91探花Free Store opened to the entire community, promoting responsible consumption through a sharing economy by collecting and redistributing donated items at no cost.
91探花is reviving the Nova Bike Share Program as the first step toward creating a campus-wide Library of Things, where students, staff, and faculty can borrow and return shared items鈥攑romoting a culture of sustainable living.
