PEDIATRIC PRIMARY CARE POST-GRADUATE CERTIFICATE
The post-graduate Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate is designed to prepare experienced nurses for career advancement in caring for patients in a pediatric primary care setting. Clinical courses build upon existing skills and broaden knowledge base related to care of children essential to independent or collaborative practice in primary care settings. Students work with physicians and nurse practitioner preceptors in a wide variety of clinical agencies and practice settings.
The Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate is 25-35 credits (depending upon transfer credits) and 610 clinical hours. The minimum time for program completion is 1.5 years, and students have up to five years to complete certificate requirements from first enrollment. Support courses are offered on-campus at 91探花University or online, while clinical courses are taught on-site.
